Deli Delights Made Vegan

On Saturday September, 13th and Sunday, September 14th Create TV will be featuring my Deli Delights Menu! This episode is a fan favorite from Season One of the Jazzy Vegetarian television show, so I am excited it is being re-aired - several times over the weekend! - Check your local listings.

The Deli Delights episode highlights my fabulous Reuben Sandwich, Eggless Egg Salad, Apple Cake and Jazzy 'Not' Liver.

Reuben Sandwich tastes so much like the real thing that it takes me right back to my childhood in Ohio, where I often ordered a traditional Reuben sandwich at my local deli.

Eggless Egg Salad, is a classic luncheon staple that makes a delectable sandwich spread too. I like to make this recipe ahead of time, and serve it well-chilled, but it is totally tasty served right out of the mixing bowl! The addition of tumeric adds health benefits and beautiful color, making this salad look just like it was actually made with eggs.

Upside Down Apple Cake serves double duty, as a fancy breakfast cake that can be served cold or re-warmed in the oven. Using bananas in place of eggs keeps it vegan.

Jazzy Not Liver is a tasty dip is a satisfying appetizer year-round, but it’s particularly inviting during the holidays. It truly mimics the texture and taste of traditional pâté. I like to serve this snazzy appetizer with a variety of dippers, such as crudités, pita chips, or whole-grain crackers or flatbread.

Please tune in!
