Great Tips for Being Healthy from the "Nutritionist to the Stars":

Today I chatted with the great Oz Garcia, Ph.D., who is recognized as the world's leading authority on healthy aging. As the "Nutritionist to the Stars," Oz is the go-to nutritionist for A-List celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Hilary Swank, Kim Cattrall, Heidi Klum, Winona Ryder, Veronica Webb and Naomi Campbell. Dr. Garcia talked about his list of “Essential Efficiency Foods” as described in his book. Some of his favorites include; various nuts (such as walnuts, pecans, almonds, cashews) and berries (such as blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries). Oz talked about how to lower your consumption of wheat in your diet by incorporating foods such as millet, quinoa, integral rice, and amaranth instead. Dr. Garcia shared his brilliant ideas about how to “engage in the pursuit of happiness.” His tips for achieving happiness are truly enlightening!
